I have been freelance for 18 years, and during that time I’ve worked across many sectors including film, music, commercial, education and corporate.

I’m skilled in Avid, Premiere Pro and Davinci Resolve, with experience working as an Assistant, DIT and Offline Editor in post production departments.

I love cutting documentary and drama.

FILMMAKER

I also work as a self shooting documentary filmmaker and visual artist. I enjoy telling stories about real subjects. Often this involves working with museums, educational groups and businesses. Creating engaging content for art installations. commissions and social media marketing. I like to work with an experimental style that is enjoyable to watch.

LECTURER & ART PRACTITIONER

I’m an Associate Lecturer at Sheffield Hallam University, teaching video editing and experimental film. I teach on the BA and MA Film and Tv courses, as well as BA Fashion Communication.

I have been teaching film and stopmotion animation for over 20 years and have a good reputation within the education community, delivering creative workshops for people of all ages and abilities. Find out more about my educational work here
